It’s a stone cold fact. America has and is normalizing treason. How else to explain the fact that so many elected insurrectionists remain in office. Or the fact that the insurrection’s mid-level planners – the Roger Stones, for instance – remain at large and, as far as we can tell, entirely free from investigation by anyone. How to explain the fact that even when Trump was still POTUS, we understood that Russia played directly interfered in election 2016 and likely played a significant role in getting Trump elected. Why else, do ya think, team Trump (looking at your corrupt, over-fed, white ass, Bill Barr!) worked soooooo freakin’ hard to keep any part of that story from ever getting out?

Russian Interference

Did anyone in our news media ever ask “what does that actually mean ‘Russia interfered with our election”?

It seems a natural question, no? Interfered how exactly? In what ways? Did the candidates benefiting know they were benefiting?

That IS the case with Donald Trump. He benefited from Russia’s “interference”. And he KNEW they were interfering on his behalf – and he cooperated with that “interference on his behalf”.

And the entire Republican Party leadership knew all about it, too.

“Pro-Putin Republicans”? WTF!!!

Donald Trump got elected on the back of TREASON. Know that “strange relationship” Trump still has with Putin?

It’s the same strange relationship all those elected Republicans have with Putin. Ask yourself – how the flaming fuck can there even be a “pro-Putin Republican“? What does it mean to be a “pro-Putin Republican“?

We can sum it up in one word: TRAITOR.

To be a pro-Putin Republican is to be a self-confessed traitor. And the fact that our news media – and, let’s be real, every Democrat – isn’t calling them out for it – that’s us normalizing treason! We’re shrugging off something we’re insane to shrug off!

The very instant we accepted the notion that Trump could have this “strange relationship” with Putin – a relationship where clearly Trump was Putin’s bitch! – right in our fucking faces? That was us normalizing treason.

Bad idea, America! But not uncorrectable.

How To Fix Treason

First, we must get comfortable with calling out treason where we see it. Understood. It’s a dangerous word. But, there’s a difference between spouting the word because emotions and employing the word because facts. The treason I’m talking about here is entirely the latter. Receipts abound.

Hell, “pro-Putin Republicans” abound. Each and every one is a walking, talking, treasonous receipt.

And for those who’d hang our whole democracy on a technicality like “treason can only happen during war!”, we see your pro-Putinism and raise you a shit-ton of patriotic “fuck off!”. We ARE at war and have been at war this entire time.

Cyber War IS War

Anyone who thinks you must have bombs and bullets to be at war will lose every war they ever fight going forwards. Cyber war is as much “war” as bombs-n-bullets war. If Russia could shut off our power grid right now, they’d do it. And we’d have to sue for peace as that war’s LOSERS.

I think about the residents of Pearl Harbor sleeping peacefully in their beds that Sunday morning – December 7, 1941. Though none of those people – nor America’s government – knew it, the Empire of Japan had declared war on us.

That is what’s happened here. Putin declared war on us. He’s a spy by training. He understands how to compromise people and then use them to his ends. People like Trump. And the entire GOP. Once compromised – especially in treasonous ways – there’s no going back.

Putin The Spymaster

The hold Putin had/has on Trump? It’s the hold an intelligence officer has over the people he handles.

Putin put Trump into office using multiple means. The entire Republican Party leadership knew before they nominated Trump that “Putin paid Trump” (just like he paid Dana Rohrbacher) and would therefore pose a grave national security threat should he be elected! This fact was reported in the Washington Post in May 2017 FFS! Talk about normalizing treason!

And, we MUST investigate fully the impact Paul Manafort handing Oleg Deripaska all that proprietary polling data had on the election’s outcome. The GRU used it to churn out personalized Facebook ads that landed on the personal FB pages of Black voters in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. The ads – all propaganda – told those voters that Hilary Clinton was a racist on the downlow. The goal: make those voters stay home and not vote.

I bet there’s research that says at least one Black voter stayed home in one of those three states. If that happened? A hostile foreign government directly impacted election 2016 – and they did it with the deliberate cooperation of the candidate.

Stop Normalizing TREASON

One plus one equals two, everyone. It just does.

We need to stop normalizing treason and, instead, call it out everywhere we see it.

It is our patriotic duty.
